The 6^th Junior International Conference on Cutting-edge Organic Chemistry in Asia (6^th Junior ICCEOCA) will be held at Chikushi campus of Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan from October 24^th to 26^th 2016.

The previous Junior ICCEOCAs were held at National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan (Dec. 6-8, 2010), Xiamen University in China (Dec. 9-11, 2011), University of Malaya in Malaysia (Dec. 8-10, 2012), Semi-no-mori in Chiba, Japan (Nov. 22-25, 2013), Thailand (Nov. 28-Dec 1, 2014), and at National Taiwan Normal University in Taiwan (Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2015).

The main aim of the Junior ICCEOCA is to create a new set of well-trained young organic chemists working in cutting-edge research as well as enable them to begin networking early in their career. It is a platform for postgraduate students to present their research work. The conference should foster the next generation of leading researchers by establishing sustainable collaborative relations among research/education institutions in Asian countries.
