Chang-Sheng Wang obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing Tech University in 2012 and obtained his Master’s degree from the same university in 2015, supervised by professor Cheng Yao. From 2013 to 2015, he was a visiting master student, supervised by professor Qi-Long Shen, at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOC). He completed his Ph.D. in 2018, working on the development of transition metal-catalyzed C-H bond functionalizations including transformation involving radical processes under the cosupervision of professor P. H. Dixneuf and Dr. Jean-François Soulé, at the University of Rennes 1 (ISCR UMR 6226). In 2019, he joined the professor Yoshikai group as a postdoctoral researcher, where he is currently working in low-valent cobalt catalysis for C-H and C-X functionalization. In his spare time, Chang-sheng enjoys reading and listening to music.
